Salzburg - Die Biathlon-Weltmeisterschaften 2027 finden in Estland im Skigebiet von Otepää statt. Das beschloss der Weltverband IBU auf seinem Kongress in Salzburg.

Beim bis zum 18. September andauernden Kongress finden auch neue Präsidiumswahlen statt. Der schwedische Amtsinhaber Olle Dahlin dürfte ohne einen Gegenkandidaten als Präsident bestätigt werden.
